fear has become more of a global issue than before. in the past it was mostly an American issue. American society is bread on fear and distrust of authority. unfortunately, it also bleeds into all other aspects of society. post-911 i think there is this identification with American fear based social politic… globally, and needlessly.

It has been suggested that between 1989 and 2001 first world history stopped. Since that time Terror or the perception of the threat of terror have become important but as we in the west have grown used to living with this fear it is has been replaced by the vision of global warming and the threat to survival.
